Globalization is a good thing or not Every coin has its two sides, one side is good, another side is not good, we can not be arbitrary judge the development of a new type of things is good or not, so for the trend of globalization is a good or bad, I still think it has both good and bad two sides, as follows, is my personal point of view to judge the advantage side and disadvantage side of globalization. Good: It’s easier to help each other   Globalization is good for the world, because people from all around the world work together. That makes it easier to communicate between different places on the earth, for example through the social networks like Facebook and twitter. Because you can access it in most parts of the world, information can be exchanged easier and faster than through any other tool. People from one place in the world can get information about places they never visited before, or they can get information about something that just happened in places around the world. That makes it a lot easier to help others in situations like the missing plane in Malaysia where many different countries try to help finding the plane. That wouldn’t be possible without globalization, because the other countries wouldn’t know about it or they just don’t care a  bout all the other countries. It’s also easier to invent new technologies. If somebody discovers a new technology, other experts around the world get informed about that and they can help him work on his project. The different countries don’t work against each other anymore; they help each other to find a way to solve a problem. Because we share new technology, it’s easier to use that technology and develop new products.   Economic globalization has more benefits   1.   The development of international tourism 2. Free trade can also be able to improve the quality of economy 3. Through globalization, people may become aware of incidents very quickly 4. Globalization encourages countries around the world to provide typical western services   5. It makes people more familiar with other cultures, and they are exposed to new ideas about food, goods, and services   6. International trade is vital to the economies of most countries around the world Globalization=Better Products and Lower Prices.   Globalization is good; by outsourcing low skilled jobs to foreign markets, companies are able to utilize cheap labor, resulting in lower prices for the consumer. Although many people in the U.S. Are upset about the loss of these unskilled jobs, they are also  upset about high prices. Outsourcing not only leads to these treasured lower prices,  but also leads to the creation of new and better products, as well as the creation of a foreign middle class. This may not seem important to the upset U.S. Citizen, but is important to the economy. By creating foreign jobs and income, this new class now has the opportunity to purchase U.S. Goods and services. Globalization is reciprocal--creating jobs abroad helps create jobs here. Over paying for an employee that has low skill only hurts the consumer. Product prices rise, resulting in less value for the consumer. There is a solution to the loss of U.S. Jobs--education and training. By taking a low skilled worker and educating or retraining them, the worker will be qualified for a higher paying job. Globalization is good   Globalization is good because world can connect on an economical level and find stability even with different cultures. Promotes products around the world and brands allowing LEDC's to invest in products affordable for them. The competitive nature of globalization forces companies to create a high level of quality and standards in their  products satisfying the buyer more as well. Globalization is good for the Economy   I think that globalization is a great benefit to not only our world, but to the economy itself. It provides us with ways to outsource our major companies to different parts of the world, where it will decrease the amount of poverty and provide these people with  jobs. This will also result in cheaper prices for everyday items that we buy, which is very good for us. Bad: It breaks the work    Globalization seems to be looked on as an unmitigated “good” by economists. Unfortunately, economists seem to be guided by their badly flawed models; they miss real-world problems. In particular, they miss the point that the world is finite. We don’t have infinite resources, or unlimited ability to handle excess pollution. So we are setting up a “solution” that is at best temporary.   Economists also tend to look at results too narrowly  –  from the point of view of a business that can expand, or a worker who has plenty of money, even though these users are not typical. In real life,  businesses are facing increased competition, and the worker may be laid off because of greater competition.   The following is a list of reasons why globalization is not living up to what was promised, and is, in fact, a very major problem.   1. Globalization uses up finite resources more quickly. As an example, China joined the world trade organization in December 2001. In 2002, its coal use began rising rapidly.  Globalization is ruining the world   Even though this economic globalization has a lot of benefits, there is one specific thing that gets me going on about why globalization is really bad for the world. This is because of how large MNC's like Wal-Mart are using factories in China. The rooms that the workers have are extremely small, dirty, smelly and to go along with that they have 5 or 6 people with them in the same room. The workers are paid so little (33 cents an hour) that they can barely or even not afford food for themselves. The workers don't have good conditions where they work and just live in hell. Also these MNC's have more political power than some countries that are less developed. And when these large MNC's go into less developed countries they kill the environment around them to make large factories, that are unsafe for workers. And this is all  because of the outsourcing that is evilly used by these MNC's. They pay cheap labor, use cheaper capitol resources and the nations they go into have loose environmental laws. But on the other hand, because the MNC's outsourcing is cheap we have cheap  products (which I like). There is my opinion on Globalization. Unfair treatment to workers   It's a bad process as the workers in the LEDCs are paid extremely low amount of money, especially considering the condition they have to work in as well as the long hours they have to work. It is clear that many of the companies employing these workers/manufacturers have enough profit to increase the standard of living for these  people but instead they are greedy and don't, benefiting themselves in the rich countries rather than supporting and increasing the development in the poorer countries. Global Economy promotes global servitude and the end of democracy   Globalization will not benefit the ordinary citizen in the long run. It will create over-exploitation of natural resources around the world and will encourage corporate imperialism. Governments no longer represent the people rather the global corporations, whose sole purpose is to create profit for themselves! There are already countless situations of the displacement of people in various parts of the world where governments have made agreements and pushed the locals from their lands, making them refugees in their own countries. People have been killed by their governments who support global exploitation. There is no consideration by the global establishment towards the indigenous civilizations it destroys and global government would only exacerbate the situations! There would be no democratic process, rather decisions would be made from unelected faceless bureaucrats who would have no sensitivity towards the various peoples in their various lands! History has proven that  human nature is greedy and corrupt and globalization will increase this a thousand fold.
