The weeks are getting past me about as fast as they have ever in my life. Its incredible to think we are almost at the New Year again. Living on this little island seems to make time evaporate a little qucker than it does anywhere else in the world. A great place to hang out. This week was rather eventless with the exception of a very th large 50 birthday party on the roof at Kuta Townhouses, where about 200 close friends and family celebrated with Mr Agung for his birthday. A great night was had by all concerned and we are all looking forward to seeing how big st we can make the 51 It was great to see a few of the Supercar Owners Club Of Indonesia attend the bash in their cars and seeing that many lined up outside the Town Houses reminded me of just how much coin is flying around the place. From all the staff at Kuta Weekly we wish Mr Agung a happy birthday again and trust that he has all the success he is due for the next year. Thanks for your support mate.Moving along, we did get a few emails this week, one of which I will publish from Mr John. The email is as follows: Love and support Bali the right way Garuda came up with a great innovation at Sydney after check in we paid for our visa at another desk then during our flight immigration stamped our passports great idea no more queuing for two hours at Denpasar, This facility has not been available for the last 8 weeks Has it been ceased?? My enquiries have been to no avail. Also having stayed on poppies 1 for many years being elderly we are in my life. It seems that each day when I wake up it's another week gone and I'm finding it more dangerous to walk the lane due to the local and expat motorbike speeding idiots. These 2 minor things will not deter our twice a year trips!! Bali John. So there you have it folks, old Mr John who does two trips a year to Bali is trying to find out if the visa process on the Garuda plane or at Sydney airport is still happening. I will interview the owner at Easy Solutions who are supporters to the paper and see if she can shed some light on the subject. They deal with all visa and related issues. With regards to the foolish few that scream around the small lanes in and around Kuta, I'm not sure what the answer is there?? Maybe the powers that be need to look at ensuring the people that hire the motorbikes actually have a license to ride one ?? Who knows, maybe its best to talk to the local council about more speed humps. Ok folks that's about my lot for the week and in closing I trust that the most of you stay safe, happy, healthy and always try your very best to remember, Keep going as everything you need will come to you at the perfect time. Enjoy Your Week,  ALIASJ............... Surya Suamba representing the Badung Regency insisted that the preservation of Taman  Ayun with regency funds was entirely appropriate given the complexes role in the regions history and its status as a UNESCO Heritage site. Suamba suggest that without the continuing financial support of the regency, Taman Ayun could  jeopardize its UNESCO status.  Kuta Weekly  News Corner  23 Oct - 29 Oct 2014 (410) Jl.
