The project needs more terry cloth fabric or towels for compleon. The towels do not have to be new. If you would like to donate please leave in room 303. We also are working on cross-stch bookmarks for bapsms. Anyone wanng to help with this project can contact Jean Gruenewald or Barb Sanders for supplies and paern. The Eagles received an opportunity to share our format across the country when we received a request for informaon from a UMW member from Newport News, VA. She was seeking informaon in hopes to start an online circle in her church. Aer joining our circle to get the feel of the format and procedure, she suc - cessfully launched a new online circle in her unit, which is growing and successful. Since our face-to-face meeng in June, we have added two members locally – Rebekah Hart and Susan Crigler. Although most of our members work during the day, some are available for hands-on projects during the week. We will parcipate in working at the Wardrobe in October. We connue to share together in our weekly devoons and oer prayer and encouragement to one another.  Gibson Circle’s mission project for August was col - lecng school supplies for the 22 chil - dren living at Coyote Hill and it was a great success! Our contribuon of supplies and cash for this project totaled $624.25. The following was on Coyote Hills facebook page. “School starts tomorrow, so today we pass out all the wonderfully donated items to the kids! Our 4-yr old denitely picked the best backpack!” Photos of membersin serviceand fellowship (courtesy of Diana Mooney) 3 Gibson Circle News:   by Evete Nissen Treasurer, Sondra Flaker, exhibits her skill at repairing a fan. Thirteen members gathered at the United Methodist Conference Center here in Columbia for a business meeng, work project and lunch. We counted, bundled and boxed over 9,900 rice recipes to be distributed through the Oce of Creave Ministries at the Fesval of Sharing in Oc - tober and through other avenues. During our work Je Baker - Director of Mission, Service, and Jusce Ministries for the conference - talked to us about the new building project at the center, which will add space to include the Conference United Methodist Foundaon Oce, the Oce of Creave Ministries, and the Fesval of Sharing Oce as well as warehouse space. Aer the presentaon, we toured the building and got a rst-hand look at the changes that will be made. On October 15, Brad Bryan presented a program on Music in Worship and on November 19, Diana Revelle will present a program on spiritual formaon using a daily devoon booklet that the group has been following for the past several months.Mark your calendars for pecan sales, which will begin on Sunday November 16.
